Session 2:- Rapport and Calibration
What Am I Reading: conversational hypnosis
This session is again in three parts but one of them is an exercise.
This part continues building over from first session. Igor picks up an example from one of the participant and elaborates on it. Then he teaches you something that I know is one of the key technique used by best sales personal and advertising media:
“People like people who are like themselves”.
Note: This simple statement is the secret behind successful sales and ad campaigns. That is why even if a Chinese dish is advertised in America, the model used is always an American. The idea is to show it being enjoyed by someone who belongs to same group, a person whom other Americans like and can relate to.
In this session Igor teaches you how to do the same in everyday life. You learn how to connect to people so that they feel that you are one of them. You will be able to see how you can make an instant rapport and make strangers agree with you. You will be able to make them respond to you, how to recognize their little body gestures, how to them do things your way.
In all, the session is called – “Rapport and Calibration”, and first part makes you a master in developing a strong rapport with that beautiful girl you are meeting for first time.
This session teaches a powerful exercise. The purpose of exercise is to expand your visionary and perception power. The exercise is supposed to increase your perception of the people and world around you. It makes you more aware of things happening around you. You might have heard of terms like “Active Listening”, this stuff is much powerful than that.
Igor builds further on rapport. At same time he discusses the advantages of the exercise done in part 2 and how it is a powerful tool in rapport building. He takes you from rapport building to calibration. At same time he guides you clear of the mistakes that most people make. You don’t make same mistakes as other people make in rapport building.
Note: This was something new, I have already read some things on rapport building and a lot of people I know even took up courses on rapport building and management. Listening to this part of session I realized why most of the courses are not successful. They miss the key point that Igor has brought out in this part. Once you understand this process of calibration using the techniques he mentions in this session you will be able to connect with anyone very fast and you can then get them thinking on your terms!
While I was impressed with the first session, in this session Igor has won my regard as a hypnosis trainer and coach. This one hour session teaches so many little things that you won’t get to learn even in graduate level human resource management programs. This is all about getting control, respect and relationship development.
It teaches you how to connect with other people and establish your respect at a subconscious level. And its not done using tricks or money, Igor teaches you how to develop that charm! (As a sidenote: reminds me of the movie – “Mask of Zoro” where Anthony Hopkins says to Antonio Banderas, “I will give you something powerful – Charm!”. Off course I felt like Antonio in this case being given that charm by Igor Ledochowski . Looking forward to impress Catherine Zeta Jones now!:) )
If I am asked to describe to give a review of this program in one word, that word would be – Rocks!
