This session is named Tonality and Igor provided some real gems out in this one. While I was listening to all this, I could make out easily why some teachers were more effective than the rest and how some sales executives are able to pull clients like magnets.

The entire had me glued to the words like anything. Igor starts with explaining how tonality of voice works. He does so by explaining how he has been using it to his advantage in past sessions and it came like a big revelation. Suddenly, it became so apparent how he was able to put  into trance almost at will.

He goes on explaining how to use your voice in a more aware state and how to make communication richer. While going through the course he teaches you how to use your words effectively so that they communicate what you want to say. He teaches you on use of your words that can make people do what you want them to do.

One special technique to learn was his multi-level communication techniques. He explains how actors use it to make their performance more intense and appealing. How they use it to cast their audience in a specific state of mind.

The rest of the chapter has a series of exercises on how to improve your tonality. As I was doing those exercises I could feel that change coming in. The way you say to make your words convey not only the meaning but also the intent in a subconscious manner. I can’t write a description of it and this is something that can only be learnt through an audio course like this.

Igor also gives a great deal of effective and useful advice on how to be more authoritative. He picks up examples from advertising world to show how they create the desire in people to buy the products and how you can create the same desire in other person for you. But among all sessions that I have done till now this one was the one with most exercises and a lot of work to do!. But, as usual great stuff.

“Hypnosis is a special state of awareness” – Igor

It took me quite a while to practice the exercises in last session. I happened to experiment with them on a friend and it worked well .

This session is something where I have very little to write, most of the thing in this session can be understood the course only. However few important takes from this session were,

how to set up a context as per your requirements. Like if you want someone to buy then how to set them up in a buying mode. Or how to make your girl say Yes!

another important take was

“Perceptions are malleable”

I wont go too much into this one as I feel it is one of the most important thing I have learnt from this course & this is to the core of the entire course. Revealing this will give an important part away.

There is also a very important section in this session on how to suggest. Something I feel I should have got to know a few years back. Often you have ever felt that people listen more to somebody else even though you are telling the same thing, then this is the ultimate solution.  Works like a charm!

This session is in three parts:

Part 1:

The first session is where Igor Ledowchowski introduces himself to you! He gives a brief introduction and then tells the purpose of the program. He gives a brief overview of program discussing out each chapter details and how it is going to make your more powerful and influential. You get to understand a lot about conversational hypnosis. He mentions the concepts like “Personal power”, “Calm assurance” that make people respond hypnotically. This guy knows his stuff.

Part 2:

The session teachings start with explanation of ‘Hypnosis’ and how we go through various states of it all the time. He explains how things like therapy, accelerated learning work. He explains the concepts of Subconscious Mind and Conscious Mind.

Note: I have the idea of all those things but it was good to see that unlike many other books that I have read, this program explains them in great details so that you have your basics cleared. Since the sessions are all live recorded. Igor takes the examples from the sessions only. Unlike an book these makes the session interactive and you can feel yourself in that situation. He picks up examples from real life so that everyone can relate to them.

Igor explains the power of subconscious mind, introduces Trance and gives you a first hand experience of it by putting you into basic stage of Trance. I had been through these kind of Trance or Alpha stages of mind. But listening to Igor is a different experience, he makes it too easy for you to get absorbed and flow naturally into the trance that he induces. This gives you a first hand experience of what Trance is and how is it induced so that later on you can use this same ideas on other people & become more influential and powerful.

Part 3:

Igor discusses the Trance experience with participants and give very useful insights that will tell you on how it happens so that you more control over trance. From other people’s experience you realize that its all very normal. This is a very strong confidence building exercise that will remove any doubts that you might hold towards all hypnosis.

Note: Subconscious is very powerful. If you can master just how to send only Yourself into trance, you can magnify your healing, learning, control… in sum all of your powers exponentially. People have reported amazing things like they can find which of their body organ is having problem, or they were able to reduce their pain substantially, or read books at amazing speed or convince even their worst opponents.

Igor then reveals the key to hypnosis. He shows you the handle that you need to pull to open the door to other people’s hypnotic mind. He mentions key concept of trans-word that makes the basis of next session.

Summary:

It’s pretty obvious after first session that you get to know Igor a bit, understand his passion and that he’s going to lay out the simple steps to conversational hypnosis for gaining as much power, influence and happiness as possible but without using much technical jargon and such.

That I like.  It’s not rocket science and while there are books that love to discuss deep subconscious, theta stages, neuroscience to such details, the rest of us just want to know what works, how to do it and how to gain that power without taking out a load for another college degree.

I think Igor is making that promise and so far, Session 1 delivers a complete first hand experience, introduction and basic ideas of conversational hypnosis without fluff and no University style language.

By the end of chapter, I am convinced of this guys amazing hypnosis skill and I know that this course is not a scam or marketing hype and I am convinced I can master and use the immense power of conversational hypnosis.

In overall Session 1 was a perfect start.  Flowed nicely, intrigued and answered me all by itself and amazingly it can put the person into trance on first day itself.  Now I have a sense of the author.

Session 3: Revivification – Review

This session is just in one part so this will be a relatively longer read!

In this session you learn the most important aspect of hypnosis -

“How to get people into trance”

Igor defines Trance as an eloquent sequence of thoughts, ideas and sounds and all those people who have gone through trance by this time describe their experience. You learn how states are important and how do they trigger action. He shows how you can create state that encourages buying behavior, encourage pain relief, enhance the learning process. He describes how to get people into desired frame of mind through simple things like

Idea of going first.

Non verbal suggestion.

The thing I enjoyed was that he explains everything with examples that everyone can relate to. It goes something like this

• Introduces the concept
• Gives an example
• follows it up with here is how you can do it.

And it is very easy to catch on it. You learn the things very fast and you can start practicing it the same day. He reveals some of the key secrets on how do people induce trance. How they are able to successfully able to get people into trance and get the things done. He teaches them in a manner where you can practice putting people into trance. You can make them love you more, create better ambience, negotiate better deals, make them agree with you. What I found amazing is that these techniques are so simple and relevant that I could literally point it out in certain people and celebrities. It was like coming to the realization why certain people I have met have been so influential. They unknowingly use the same ideas for communication.

Side Note: This is the third session I am going through and I have already been practicing everything I have learnt by now. In between something took place, I entered into a row with my girlfriend. A few minutes later I gave it a thought again and then thought over what I have learned and called her up again!. Guess what! Not only I was able to get her to agree to what I wanted but she apologized and said that I understand her better. How? Go back to session 1 & 2 where Igor talks about echoing and trans-word. Using those simple ideas I was able to find and hit her with the exact words that hit her subconscious. In five years of my relationship with her, I had never been able to settle out anything with her in such a win-win manner.

At the same time I realized one thing, this thing is very powerful but you need to practice it. You need to practice and intentionally use it till it becomes your natural way of communication. I was able to see that happening right from the first day and as I practiced it more, talking to the people I used to talk to everyday, I could see a new cheerfulness in those conversation. I think this is only going to go better!

Summary:

Besides realizing the power of this thing through personal experience, I am beginning to feel that this is not something you can wrap up in a day. You need to do exercises and practice. This is not a magic pill but a magic sword that you need to practice and master. I might slow down over next one or two days as I try to absorb and practice the concepts in this session. Especially since they need me to work on my intonation and communication style. Once again the ideas were simple and you can master them. Considering the changes I am feeling in last four days, you too should observe a lot of power and influence in your daily life. You will know how to make people agree to you and thank you for the same, and THAT is a wonderful feeling. (Personally experienced

Session 2:- Rapport and Calibration

This session is again in three parts but one of them is an exercise.

Part 1:

This part continues building over from first session. Igor picks up an example from one of the participant and elaborates on it. Then he teaches you something that I know is one of the key technique used by best sales personal and advertising media:

“People like people who are like themselves”.

Note: This simple statement is the secret behind successful sales and ad campaigns. That is why even if a Chinese dish is advertised in America, the model used is always an American. The idea is to show it being enjoyed by someone who belongs to same group, a person whom other Americans like and can relate to.

In this session Igor teaches you how to do the same in everyday life. You learn how to connect to people so that they feel that you are one of them. You will be able to see how you can make an instant rapport and make strangers agree with you. You will be able to make them respond to you, how to recognize their little body gestures, how to them do things your way.

In all, the session is called – “Rapport and Calibration”, and first part makes you a master in developing a strong rapport with that beautiful girl you are meeting for first time.

Part 2:

This session teaches a powerful exercise. The purpose of exercise is to expand your visionary and perception power. The exercise is supposed to increase your perception of the people and world around you. It makes you more aware of things happening around you. You might have heard of terms like “Active Listening”, this stuff is much powerful than that.

Part 3:

Igor builds further on rapport. At same time he discusses the advantages of the exercise done in part 2 and how it is a powerful tool in rapport building. He takes you from rapport building to calibration. At same time he guides you clear of the mistakes that most people make. You don’t make same mistakes as other people make in rapport building.

Note: This was something new, I have already read some things on rapport building and a lot of people I know even took up courses on rapport building and management. Listening to this part of session I realized why most of the courses are not successful. They miss the key point that Igor has brought out in this part. Once you understand this process of calibration using the techniques he mentions in this session you will be able to connect with anyone very fast and you can then get them thinking on your terms!

Summary:

While I was impressed with the first session, in this session Igor has won my regard as a hypnosis trainer and coach. This one hour session teaches so many little things that you won’t get to learn even in graduate level human resource management programs. This is all about getting control, respect and relationship development.

It teaches you how to connect with other people and establish your respect at a subconscious level. And its not done using tricks or money, Igor teaches you how to develop that charm! (As a sidenote: reminds me of the movie – “Mask of Zoro” where Anthony Hopkins says to Antonio Banderas, “I will give you something powerful – Charm!”. Off course I felt like Antonio in this case being given that charm by Igor Ledochowski . Looking forward to impress Catherine Zeta Jones now!:) )

If I am asked to describe to give a review of this program in one word, that word would be – Rocks!
